Winemaker Clay Mauritson and Chef Charlie Palmer invite you to the Fifth Annual Project Zin event, Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Hotel Healdsburg located in the heart of Sonoma wine country. This preeminent wine event will gather some of the most sought after Zinfandels paired with decadent bites from Chef Palmer and other local Sonoma County chefs.     Package guests will enjoy an exclusive afternoon with Clay and Carrie Mauritson. Guests will be picked up from Hotel Healdsburg and will start their afternoon at the Mauritson tasting room in the heart of Dry Creek Valley. After a tour of the production facility and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, guests will wind their way from the winery to the top of the historic Rockpile Ridge Vineyard. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the heart of the vineyard while sipping a glass of Rosé with Clay and Carrie. The afternoon will feature lunch served alongside a vertical of Rockpile Zinfandels. Your afternoon will conclude with a stop at Mauritson Winery where guests can enjoy coffee and a tour of the production facility. This is a truly fantastic experience to spend an afternoon filled with spectacular wine, delicious food and great company.

Attendees must be 21 years or older. Tickets are limited while supplies last. Applicable facility fees and service charges apply to all ticket sales and must be paid by purchaser.

Event tickets are non-refundable. Package prices include 14% tax on room portion. Full package pricing is charged at the time of booking. Hotel Lodging Packages have a six-week cancellation policy. Reservations must be cancelled six-weeks prior to arrival day for full refund. Packages cancelled after Friday, July 3rd, 2015 at 3pm PST are non-refundable. The room portion of the package may be applied to a future stay, ticket fees will not be credited. Please contact Hotel Healdsburg at 707.922.5249 for cancellations.

Proceeds will benefit the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area. DSCBA’s mission is to empower, inspire and support people with Down Syndrome, their families, and the community that serves them while fostering awareness and acceptance in all areas of life.

DSCBA develops services that are in line with members’ needs and strives to continuously break down barriers to success by providing resources, technology, and education through their direct services. Their Down Syndrome Education Alliance, Expression Connection and Communication Readiness Programs, as well as Peer Development Classes, Medical Outreach Alliance, public policy outreach, education advocacy, new parent outreach, support groups, and more, reflect the diverse needs of their members.

Their programs and services include information and programs for new and expecting parents, the THRIVE Program, Connection Groups, Music Therapy, Speech Services as well as Communication Readiness Programs.
